My life isn’t as great as others think it is.
As a kid I didn’t have a lot of stuff, and what I did have wasn’t fancy.
In school, I didn’t have a lot of friends. What friends I did have turned their back on me. i learned not to waste stuff because it was a struggle to get more of it. My parents worked, but they didn’t get paid enough. Taking care of 4 kids with two low income jobs was a big struggle. We eventually had to get help.
We had to move from place to place until we moved where my dad grew up at.
Each month my parents struggled with things. It eventually got worse that last couple of years.
My dad lost his job for 6 months. My mom lives off of her boyfriends pay check.
I thought life would be easier. But, its still about the same. Not as bad now.
I still don’t have any friends, except for my amazing boyfriend. 15 years of struggling has made me depressed, stressed, and made me worry way too much.
