The pressure is unreal. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it feels like your underwater and trying to grasp for air, or it feels like your in a crowd and everyone is closing in on you. There’s no way out. That’s how I feel whenever I play basketball. I love the game so much, and I’m considered the best of the best, but all I think about is how many people are expecting so much from me, how many people want to see me fail, and hoe many people who want to be in my shoes. I know you probably don’t understand why I feel depressed most of the time, if I’m the basketball star or whatever, but I don’t think you could really understand unless you’ve been in my shoes. Let me try to help you, when I play, my team doesn’t give me the ball because they don’t want me to score, the other parents I think secretly don’t want me to score either, and then my coach and all these recruiters expect me to score and expect me to do everything. You might say just move to a different team then, but it’s not that simple, it never is. If I move, I will get 365- meaning I won’t be able to play for a year. It’s like I’m stuck between a rock and a cliff, and that crowd I was talking about, they are closing in fast, and I can’t get out. Please, of you have any suggestions for me, I’m more than willing to listen. I’m so lost and I don’t eve know what to do anymore.
