Hi I’m jade and this is my story…
I was born in the Perth hills but my first home wouldn’t be mine for long a little after I turned six months we were kicked out of our rental but this wouldn’t be the first time. We were kicked out four times before my birthday(six months later) meaning we spent my first birthday in our car. By my third birthday mum had a house but mum and dad had broken up dad was in jail and mum worked full time which meant I was first to daycare and last out. I used to sit outside and count how many people walked past before mum arrived. Things were tough but it was me and mum against the world and I was happy with that. When I was five my mum met the man she’d been looking for and I had a new dad we moved in with him and shortly after that we moved over to Melbourne. Melbourne was great until I started having mental health issues at 11 I was diagnosed with anorexia and then depression, anxiety and paranoia. I am now a recovered anorexic but I still live my life with depression, anxiety and paranoia I have learnt to live with depression and anxiety but paranoia is the one that runs my life. I am so proud to call my family mine and couldn’t wish for a better one.
